How to read my Substack page
Quick heads up, because I'm here to help you make sense of things. Not further complicate them.
Chances are youβre quite new to Substack, as am I (around 6 weeks in). In the past couple of days, Iβve been updating my Substack knowledge. Iβve been reading a lot of good advice on how to build and design your Substack page. One of the examples that I personally found very helpful was that of someone who wrote a post, just like this one youβre reading now, pinned it to their homepage. Put it in the center, and then all of a sudden the home page makes a lot more sense.
So thatβs what this post is for. And to add some visual interest, hereβs a photo of me trying to smile and look sort of serious at the same time.
What more to expect here?
A bunch of stuff to explore.
Podcast: The Creative Pragmatist. An English-spoken podcast, figuring this out as I go, taking you along. Open to new guests who want to talk about any of my topics: creative pragmatism, cognitive flexibility, using AI as someone with a disability. New ideas welcome too!
Notes: a substack feature that I use to promote my work as well as share quick thoughts, recommendations and other stuff. Itβs the Substack social media department, a timeline by which new readers can discover me quickly.
Everyday Philosophy with Marlie - This section contains stories and articles on everyday situations in my life, combined with humor and philosophical reflection and enrichment. Occasionally I share creative solutions for everyday situations: life hacks.
Podcast Mediteren met Marlie - Dutch spoken meditations and observations. Very personal, very private. Relaxing and invigorating at the same time. This is also where the quirkier side of me peeks through.
About: the page that is about me ON SUBSTACK. If you really want to know all there is to know about me, then I suggest you hit subscribe or follow, if you havenβt already. And while youβre at it, I love to interact, so do speak out about anything I wrote that triggered you.
Happy reading & writing,
See you next thought.
